Fun Games and Extras:

Happy Face, Sad Face (flashcard game):

Draw a happy face on one side of the chalkboard and a sad face on the other. Divide class in two teams and Ss line up at the back of the class. Hold up a flashcard and call it out. If what you say is correct, one S from each team runs up and slaps the happy face. If what you say is incorrect the Ss slap the sad face. If you don't have a chalkboard, cut out two circles and draw the faces on them, then you can stick them on the wall. This game is great for 3 to 7 year-olds! They love it!
For example: I hold up the purple flashcard and yell "Yellow." The Ss have to run up to the board and slap the sad face, then say purple.

For older students: You can change it to suit older students by using sentences.
For example: I say: "She have a red jacket." The Ss run up and slap the sad face then say "She has a red jacket." ___

Alphabet (worksheet game):

Each S receives a bingo sheet. T calls out the letters and the Ss mark them on their sheet. The first S to mark all letters wins. If his/her level permits, the winner can call out the letters or numbers instead of the teacher!
